Dhaam ia the specialty of Himachal . Dhaam is a plate full of delicious delicacies. Dhaam is prepared by special chefs called Botis and served especially on different occasions and festivals. A plate usually consists of plain rice with Rajma Dal, a sweet dish which is called as Bundi ka mitha ,Kaddu ka khttha , Sepu Badi and Kadhi. Dhaam is served on Leafy plates called Pattal ( in local Himachli language). In the twelve districts of Himachal all food items have unique preparation styles. Regional Dhaam of Himachal - Chambyali Dhaam, Kangri Dhaam, Mandyali Dhaam,  Kinnauri Dhaam,Sirmouri Dhaam.

PATANDE

A popular breakfast dish of Himachal. Patande is known from different names in twelve districts of Himachal. Patande can rightly be called as Indian pancakes. Patande are . Made from wheat flour , milk and sugar are poured on a ghee laden hot griddle and a thin pancakes like those resembling dosa's are cooked to make sweet patande.

SIDDU

Siddu is a popular bread made out of wheat kneaded with yeast two hours before preparation, stuffed with different fillings like roasted peanuts, walnuts, almonds or lentils and served with different kinds of sweet and spicy chutneys. Or you can also have it with ghee or butter.
